Pia + Raphy | Winter Wonderland Engagement Session | Reston, VA

So being from Georgia, snow and winter have never really been my thing. I hate being cold and I am constantly wishing for those long summer days when you eat ice cream on the porch, walk around barefoot and watch the sunset at 9 PM. But y’all. Everything changed over the weekend when I had Pia and Raphy in front of my camera!

As I watched the snow fall on Saturday, I started to see all of my photog friends posting pictures of GORGEOUS snow day sessions and of course, the FOMO was real. I captured Pia and Raphy’s engagement photos over the summer and I was SO excited when Pia said they’d be interested in a second round and a mini snow day session!! And they were bringing their puppy, Thor!!

Not much has changed since I last saw these two! They are still SO in love and SO much fun to photograph! They giggle through all of their nose to nose and kissing photos and they have so much fun simply being together. Not to mention, they are naturals in front of the camera!

The apple clearly doesn’t fall far from the tree! Just look at Thor!! He was clearly born to be a puppy model! And look how cute his little underbite is!! I cannot!
