Emily + Grant | Anniversary Session Photographer | Airlie | Warrenton, VA

If there has ever been a perfect summer anniversary session, this was it! I met Emily & Grant at Airlie in Warrenton on Sunday night and the combination of a magical location, perfect weather (and glowy light), and their unconditional love for each other made for one of my favorite sessions to date! I met these two many years ago, in college, long before I was a photographer and even before they were dating! It was so special to spend time with them on Sunday, hearing about their love story, their wedding day, and their journey through marriage. I, of course, love engagement sessions and wedding days, new love being documented, the excitement of marriage and forever love on the brink. But photographing anniversary sessions might be my new favorite thing, especially when the love is so dynamic and true, years after you’ve made your vows to one another.
