Downtown Charleston Elopement | Carissa & Zach

This Downtown Charleston Elopement is what elopement dreams are made of y’all!! This gorgeous morning, planned by Sarah Lillie Designs was an absolute dream! From the beautiful custom watercolor crest, stationary and getaway flag by The Welcoming District, to an appearance by Fiona, the Pink Figgy, I was in photography heaven as we strolled along the cobblestone streets of Charleston, church bells singing in the background!

While it was a very intimate celebration, Carissa and Zach worked with Alicia at The Welcoming District to create  this adorable elopement announcement! Alicia crafted them a custom crest that they included with their invitations as a photo announcement card and on their getaway flag for the back of the Pink Figgy!

Beautiful floral pieces, designed by Sweetleaf Floral were the perfect accompaniment to their custom crest and details! The white anemones are one of my absolute favorites!

Carissa & Zach held their elopement ceremony at Washington Park in Downtown Charleston. A spring dream, the park was filled to the brim with azaleas and other spring blooms! Their ceremony, lead my Custom Vows by Casey was intimate, romantic and so, so sweet!

After their intimate garden ceremony, we explored the streets of Charleston with the Pink Figgy! Is this car not the cutest darn thing you’ve ever seen?! And it was perfectly accompanied by a gorgeous floral arrangement and their darling getaway flag and custom crest!

Carissa and Zach paused their celebrations for a little dessert. They snacked on some delicious strawberry macarons rather than a traditional wedding cake! I got to enjoy one at the end of the day and y’all, I might be team macaron from now on! 

We finished our celebration with an adorable champagne toast! And I’m ready to include champagne in all of my sessions moving forward!! If you saw my Reel earlier this week, you saw how much fun these are!
