Folly Beach Wedding Day | Megan & Ryan

There’s about a million things I could say about this beautiful Folly Beach Wedding Day! Let me start by saying that it was the sweetest, warmest and most joyful celebration and I was absolutely honored to be a part of it!

I met Megan virtually months ago. Even though distance and timing kept us from having an engagement session before their day, Megan and Ryan felt like friends from moment I arrived! They were incredibly welcoming and truly made me feel like part of the family!

Their day was planned around the things that were most important to them – their relationship, their families, their friends, and of course, their fur-babe, Camden.

I’m particularly smitten with intimate wedding days, as Brad and I celebrated in a similar way, almost 8 years ago! Covid times re-introduced the world to these intimate gatherings. I am so glad it did because there may be nothing more romantic and magical than spending the day celebrating what’s most important. Add in some gorgeous scenery and beautiful details and you have a wedding day dream!

I especially loved getting to witness the love between these two during their Folly Beach Wedding Day. It didn’t really matter what happened on the day. Many things didn’t go as planned but Megan and Ryan didn’t let that bother them. From traffic and bad weather that made us move their first look from Downtown to the beach to a potentially rained out ceremony, Megan and Ryan truly kept the focus exactly where it was supposed to be. And their portraits captured all of that joy and love. You can truly feel it radiating from their images.

Megan and Ryan, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day! (And a honeymoon session I can’t wait to put on the blog soon!!) I’m wishing you nothing but the best in your marriage and fingers crossed I get to have you both in front of my camera (or just over for dinner!) again soon!
